SYNOPSIS: Sorority house girls have their Christmas break disturbed by a crazed dude making creepy phone calls. Movie tagline "If this film doesn't make your skin crawl, it's on too tight!"HIGHS: B is for Booze - so is the toilet! Sammy likes the eyeball in the door crack.
LOWS: A little slow at times. Maybe the greatest Canadian film ever? (That's not saying much!)
MEMORABLE LINES: Lieutenant: Sargent - you couldn't pick your nose without directions. later... Lieutenant: Sargent - do NOT tell her the call is coming from inside the house. If you fuck this up, I'm gonna kill you. Sargent (a few minutes later): Jess, the call is coming from inside the house!

FOUR out of ten? this movie scared me silly! just try watching it alone. sure its funny with a group of people, but all alone, brrrrr! scary stuff, keeds! the movie has it all: heavy breathing camera that climbs up buildings, disturbed piano playing, dead chicks wrapped in plastic bags, andrea martin in an unfunny/funny role, margot kidder before she went crazy, olivia hussey, and ROTARY PHONES. they are scary as hell--esp in this day and age when i have to dial 905 all the time, and i get to the end of a number with lots of nines and my finger slips, and i have to start all over again. terrifying. i give it a 7.7.
